Q. Is there any special software required?

A. No. Just an internet browser that supports 128 bit encryption. The following browsers are all acceptable: Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) for Windows version 7.0 or higher, including IE 8.0 and higher, Mozilla Firefox version 3.0 or higher, Opera version 9.0 or higher, Mozilla Camino version 1.0.3 or higher, Apple Safari version 3.0 or higher (Apple OSX only.  iPhone not supported), Google Chrome, version 2.0 or higher

Q. Is Online Banking secure?

A. Yes. Besides using 128-bit encryption, First Personal Bank online banking is built with several additional safeguards to ensure your account information remains secure. Should someone attempt to access your account portfolio using an incorrect password more than four times, First Personal Bank will lock out the entire session from use. The lockout can only be cleared by a First Personal Bank employee. Should you forget to logout of Online Banking, your session will automatically be terminated after 20 minutes of no activity.

Q. What if my ACCESS ID and/or PASSWORD don’t seem to work?

A. There are a couple solutions to this problem. The most common issue is the placement of your CAPS LOCK key. Your ACCESS ID and PASSWORD are case sensitive. The second most common issue is a complete lock-out of your account. If you weren’t sure of your PASSWORD, and began guessing or didn’t realize that you were entering your PASSWORD in the wrong case, you had only four chances to get it right. As a security feature, we lock-out all accounts if an incorrect PASSWORD in entered on the fourth try. The only way to reset a lock-out is by calling (708) 226-2727 during regular business hours.

You may not enjoy paying bills, but we can help you make it quick and easy. With Online Bill Pay, you just view and click to pay your bills. That’s it! And, it all happens on one secure Web site, so you don’t have to visit multiple biller Web sites. E-bills are electronic versions of your paper bills delivered to you through Bill Pay. With e-bills, you can quickly see your bill’s amount due, due date, and bill details right in Bill Pay – without your paper statement!
